Via Instapundit, here's a list of movie couples with the dreaded "bad chemistry." Most are from movies I'd forgotten about, and none date farther back than the eighties. Are our cultural memories really that short? Here's my favorite: Worst Movie Couples
Exit to Eden: Rosie O'Donnell and Dan Aykroyd were horribly miscast in this 1994 un-funny comedy which finds both of them in S&M gear.

I would add Jack Nicholson and Maria Schneider from The Passenger. Jack was OK, but Schneider was a mess. She was supposed to be this international sex symbol, but was not sexy at all. She walked awkwardly, spoke in a monotone and tended to stare absently into the camera for long stretches of time. It's impossible to know the state of their romance, even when they are talking about it.
