All Dare Call It ... Conspiracy!

Bill Clinton continues his heroic battle against the Vast Right Wong Conspiracy (VRWC) that proved so cunning that it induced him to have cheesy Oval Office sex with Monica Lewinsky: Bill Clinton Speaks of Vast Right Wing Conspiracy

Bill Clinton says a vast, right-wing conspiracy that once targeted him is now focusing on President Barack Obama.

The ex-president made the comment in a television interview when he was asked about one of the signature moments of the Monica Lewinsky affair over a decade ago. Back then, first lady Hillary Rodham Clinton used the term "vast, right-wing conspiracy" to describe how her husband's political enemies were out to destroy his presidency.

Bill Clinton was asked on NBC's "Meet the Press" whether the conspiracy is still there. He replied: "You bet. Sure it is. It's not as strong as it was because America has changed demographically. But it's as virulent as it was."

Clinton said that this time around, the focus is on Obama and "their agenda seems to be wanting him to fail."

Laaaaaaaaaaaaaammmmme!

It's hard to believe that there is anyone outside of the Democratic Party who continues to accept the media image of Bill Clinton as a brilliant moderate brought down by his, ahem, appetites. But, his repeated reliance on a VRWC as the source of the failures of his presidency and of the Left's programs in general is either juvenile or cynical, and is certainly not the behavior of a moderate. It's the mind-set of a typical Leftist who lives the Walter Mitty fantasy that he and other members of the Elect are all that stands between America and "Nazis." If Clinton can't give his opponents the courtesy of accepting that they might have good faith, principled reasons for rejecting his ideas, and that of Obama, then I don't know why we should have to pay tribute to the fiction that he is any great intellect and "statesman."
