In Israeli Vote, With Two Parties Nearly Tied, the Winner Is Gridlock
Me: no it's not. The only question is whether the governing coalition will be center-right or right-right. The last few years of center-left rule - complete with a corrupt urban machine pol as prime minister and a trade union leader as Defense Minister - didn't work out so well. Now, maybe Israel can go back to winning wars without apologizing.
